Saudi Arabian NEOM is planning to undertake the construction of the southern cluster as a part of the NEOM City Development Program in Tabuk Province, Saudi Arabia.

The project was established in the north-western region of Saudi Arabia and will include territory from within the Egyptian and Jordanian borders. It will be extended over 468km coastline along the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba and the total area will be 26,500km2.

NEOM aims to develop nine key economic sectors which are energy and water, mobility, biotech, food, technological and digital sciences, advanced manufacturing, media and media production, entertainment and living as NEOM’s foundation. It will be empowered entirely by renewable energy. The site will also become the main entrance to the King Salman Bridge, linking Asia and Africa, which will add to the zone’s economic significance. It includes Royal Palaces, gathering hall, golf course, landscaping works and infrastructure works, and utilities.

The current profile is part of the NEOM City Development Program and it covers the NEOM Oxagon (also known as NEOM Industrial City) package.

The US$16000 million project includes the following:

1. Helios Green Fuels

2. Construction of a hydrogen plant

3. Construction of a desalination plant

4. Construction of a manufacturing plant

5. Laying of inter-connecting lines

6. Construction of storage tanks

7. Construction of utilities and offsites

8. Construction of associated facilities.
