SDAIA - Hexagon Data Center: Phase 1
Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) is planning to undertake the construction of the first phase of the Hexagon Data Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Hexagon Data Centre is the world's largest government-run data facility and will span an area of 30 million square feet and deliver a power capacity of up to 480 megawatts.
The project aims to support the rapid expansion of digital government services while securing national control over critical data. This scale is expected to place Saudi Arabia among the worldâs leading destinations for advanced digital infrastructure.
The US$267 million project includes the following:
1. Construction of a Tier IV data centre
2. Construction of meeting rooms
3. Construction of a cafeteria
4. Construction of an administrative space
5. Landscaping works
6. Construction of car parking facilities
7. Installation of safety and security systems
8. Associated facilities
