QIC - Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Stadium
Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) is planning to develop the multi-purpose Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Stadium which will be built on top of a 200m-high Tuwaiq cliff located in the new sports and entertainment district of Qiddiya City, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Once completed, the stadium will serve as the home ground for Saudi Pro League football clubs Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal and is one of the proposed venues for the Kingdomâs 2034 FIFA World Cup bid. It will also host some of the regionâs biggest sports events including the Saudi King Cup, the 2027 AFC Asian Cup, and possibly the 2034 Asian Games, with 7.6 million visits per year by 2030.
The stadium is one of the key venues for the FIFA World Cup 2034.
The US$1050 million project includes the following:
1. Construction of a multi-purpose stadium with a gross capacity of 46,979 seats
-Net capacity 42,443 seats
-Hospitality seats (5,574 nos.)
-Sky box seats 1,200 nos.)
-Media tribune seats (1,631 nos.)
-VVIP seats (237 nos.)
-VIP seats (1,028 nos.)
-Access seats (481 nos.)
2. Construction of retractable roof, pitch, LED wall
3. Construction of shopping, dining, and entertainment areas (50,000 sqm area)
4. Construction of park ân ride and drop-off zones
5. Construction of an eco-friendly cooling lake built directly under the stadium
6. Infrastructure works
7. Piling works
8. Enabling works
9. Foundation works
10. Construction of associated facilities

Market sources indicate that the JV of Nesma and Partners Contracting and FCC Construction has been appointed as the main contractor on the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Stadium (Main Package).
