ADNOC Offshore - Sarb Offshore Field Development
Adnoc Offshore is planning to develop the Sarb offshore field located in the central offshore area of Abu Dhabi, near the Ghasha and Zakum fields, approximately 60 km southeast of Das Island, UAE.
The Project comprise mainly offshore facilities within the SARB field, plus Pig receivers at inlet facilities at Das island. Power, control and communication from Al Qatia & Bu Sikeen artificial Islands and Zirku, Arzanah and Das Islands as Brownfield activities.
The project is expected to produce 200 million standard cubic feet a day of gas from the Sarb field.
The US$500 million project includes the following:
1. Development of the sarb field
2. Construction of a pig receiver at the inlet facilities of Das Island
3. Installation of 2 unmanned wellhead platforms
4. Installation of Gas export pipeline C.S 24â to new inlet facilities at Das Island
5. Laying of Power and FO cable from Al Qatia, Bu Sikeen and Zirku Islands to SARB WHPs
6. Construction of brownfields works mainly tie-ins (as required) at Al Qatia, Bu Sikeen Islands, Das and Zirku and Arzanah Islands
7. Installation of associated facilities
The EPC Scope is intended to be executed in the following split:
Offshore Facilities:
a. Gas production and test manifold multi-phase flow meter
b. pig launchers sized for intelligent pigging
c. Chemical packages/injection facilities
d. Installation of the vent and drain system
e. Installation of monorail, helideck
f. Cable supplying electrical power and for control/communication
g. Installation of risers and J tubes
Onshore Facilities:
a. The well fluid from the SARB field will be received in a new inlet facility at Das Island to separate the gas and the produced water stream
b. The produced gas stream will be tie-in to the ADNOC GAS (P5 project facilities)
c. The water stream will be tie-n into ADNOC OFFSHORE's existing Sour Water Deoiling Plant (SWDP)
