NEOM - NEOM City: Oxagon Port: Terminal T1 Infrastructure & Building Works
Saudi Arabian NEOM is planning to undertake the construction of Terminal T1 Infrastructure and Building Works in Oxagon Port in Oxagon (also known as NEOM Industrial City) as part of the NEOM City Development Program in Tabuk Province, Saudi Arabia.
The project is part of the NEOM City Development Program.
The US$1000 million project includes the following:
1. Construction of a container terminal:
i. Construction of HV and LV substations
ii. Communications networks
iii. Installation of solar systems
iv. Construction of potable water and fire-water networks
v. Construction of stormwater collection and disposal
vi. Installation of district cooling water piping
vii. Rainwater harvesting
viii. Construction of high-mast towers
ix. Installation of reefer gantries
x. Installation of leaky container pits
xi. Construction of heavy-duty pavements
2. Construction of a building:
i. Construction of T1 Workshop and Operations Building
ii. Construction of T1 Trouble Resolution Building
iii. Construction of Reefer Maintenance and RFID Tagging Offices
iv. Construction of T1 Battery Exchange Building, including plug-in fast charging facilities
v. Construction of Marine Service Crew Building
vi. Construction of Marine Service Dive Center
vii. Construction of Marine Service Emergency Response Center
viii. Construction of Marine Service Fire Station
ix. Construction of Marine Service Workshop and Store
x. Construction of Marine Services Building
xi. Construction of Marine Services and Reefer Substation
xii. Construction of Main Incoming, Cold Ironing and eRTG Substation
xiii. Installation of Fiber Optic Substations (2 No.s)
xiv. Construction of T1 Main In-Gate and OCR Portal Out-Gate
xv. Construction of T1 Main Out-Gate and OCR Portal In-Gate Marine Service Gates
3. Construction of parking facilities
4. Pavement across multiple zones, covering a total area of about 375,000 square metres
5. Roads and bridges
6. Excavation and dredging works
7. Revetments for channel widening
8. Demolition and construction of a longer quay wall
9. Container terminal quay expansion and earthworks
10. Construction of associated facilities
