JCDC - Jeddah Central Project: Phase 1: Stadium
Jeddah Central Development Company (JCDC) is planning to undertake the construction of a football Stadium and surrounding sports village on a total construction area of approximately 500,000 sqm as a part of the Jeddah Central Project in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
The stadium will be located in the southwest of Jeddah, in the coastal Al Andalus area and will be constructed following FIFA standards. The roof has a long-span steel structure and membrane structure design, and the roof membrane above the lawn area can be expanded and contracted according to weather conditions.
The stadium is one of the key venues for the FIFA World Cup 2034.
The US$1700 million project includes the following:
1. Construction of stadium building (45,794 seats, 2 underground floors and 7 above ground floors, 54 meters height)
-Net capacity (42,160 nos.)
-Hospitality seats (3,804 nos.)
-Sky box seats (2,088 nos.)
-Media tribune seats (1,334 nos.)
-VVIP seats (146 nos.)
-VIP seats (996 nos.)
-Access seats (543 nos.)
2. Construction of four sports villages
3. Construction of commercial areas
3. Construction of entertainment area
3. Construction of medical area
3. Construction of educational area
4. Installation of solar photovoltaic panels (14,000 sqm)
5. Installation of air-conditioning systems
6. Construction of associated facilities
