ADNOC Offshore - LTDP: Lower Zakum - Phase 1: Omairah Island Topside Facilities Package II
ADNOC Offshore is undertaking the development of the Omairah Island topside facilities at Das Island under Phase 1 of the Lower Zakum Long Term Development Plan in Abu Dhabi, the UAE.
This project is part of the Lower Zakum Long-Term Development Phase 1 (LTDP-1) and aims to deliver the Al-Omairah Island Topside Facilities Package II. It is designed to support production of 520,000 barrels of oil per day through 2040. Key systems include export gas compression trains, gas dehydration units, offshore flare structures, a riser platform, and drill pad areas. The facility will collect, treat and compress production gas, reduce moisture content, and safely burn off excess gases. Its aim is to enhance overall output, improve efficiency, reduce emissions, and support ADNOCâs long-term production objectives in Lower Zakum.
The US$3394 million project includes the following:
1. Construction of the production separation unit
2. Construction of process facilities
3. Construction of gas compression unit
4. Construction of the produced water treatment and disposal unit
5. Construction of vapour recovery units
6. Construction of water injection units
7. Construction of riser tower and flare towers
8. Construction of local equipment rooms
9. Construction of associated facilities
10. Installation of the power distribution facility
11. Installation of substations
12. Installation of various wellheads
