Adnoc - Mirfa Seawater Treatment Plant
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) is planning to develop Mirfa planned seawater treatment under Project Wave in Abu Dhabi, the UAE.
The US$3,200 million project involves the following:
1. Construction of a seawater treatment plant
2. Development of a nanofiltration plant with a capacity of 115 million imperial gallons a day
3. Construction of a pumping station
4. Laying of 75-kilometre (km) water transmission pipeline to the Bab and Bu Hasa oilfields
5. Development of in-field distribution network to disseminate treated water to water injection wells
6. Construction of seawater intake and outfall
