AGP - ESTIDAMA: New Compressor Plant at Habshan Gas Compressor Plant
ADNOC Gas Processing is planning to undertake the development of a new compressor plant at KP-30 location of Habshan Gas Compressor Plant (HGCP) in Abu Dhabi, the UAE. The project includes three gas compressors of 400 MMcfd capacity each.
It is part of project is known as ESTIDAMA and is also known as EPC Package 2.
The sales gas pipeline network consists of four main clusters of facilities and manifolds located in Abu Dhabi: Thammama-C manifold, Maqta manifold facility, KM-42 station, and Taweelah gas compressor station (TGCS). The Sales Gas Pipeline Network Enhancement Project aims to construct a new Gas Compression Plant and accompanying gas pipelines to enhance and supply gas to current and future customers, including those in the northern emirates. It also aims to maintain an integrated pipeline network for gas self-sufficiency, debottleneck existing gas network constraints, and enable LNG growth in Fujairah.
The US$750 million project involves the following:
1. Development of a HGCP station (805 MMscfd - Phase 1 (Pkg 2)
2. Installation of variable frequency drive (VFD) motor-driven compressors (5 Nos.)
3. Construction of compressor trains
4. Construction of high-pressure gas discharge units
5. Laying of trunk lines
6. Installation of power transformers
7. Installation of FOC and other communication equipment
8. Installation of control system
