Saudi Aramco/ ROSHN - Aramco Stadium: Main Package
Saudi Aramco and ROSHN are undertaking the construction of a football stadium over an area of about 800,000 square metres (sqm) located in the north of Al Khobar, close to the Corniche, Saudi Arabia.
The stadium will be home ground for Aramco-owned Al Qadsiah Club and a key venue for international tournaments such as the 2027 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup and the FIFA World Cup 2034.
The US$1000 million project includes the following:
1. Construction of a 46,096-seating capacity stadium
-Net capacity (42,801 Nos.)
-Hospitality seats (2,494 Nos.)
-Sky box seats (755 Nos.)
-Media tribune seats (1,283 Nos.)
-VVIP seats (75 Nos.)
-VIP seats (840 Nos.)
-Access seats (452 Nos.)
2. Construction of six surrounding buildings covering 548 sqm
3. Construction of gathering areas
4. Construction of lodges and skyboxes
5. Construction of training grounds
6. Construction of parking facilities
7. Associated facilities

The main contract tender has been issued with bid submission due on December 10, 2023. The following companies have been pre-qualified: Joint Venture of Limak and El Seif Engineering and Contracting, Joint Venture of WeBuild and Nesma and Partners, and Joint Venture of BESIX and Al Bawani. Populous is working as the consultant on the project. Populous is working as the consultant on the project.

Mohammed Al Rashid Co amongst others have submitted the EOI on the project, however the main contract tenders have not been issued yet.
