A joint venture of TA’ZIZ, Fertiglobe, Mitsui & Co., and GS Energy Corporation is planning to undertake the construction of a blue ammonia plant at Ruwais in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The plant will be built with a capacity of 1 million tonnes per annum at the new TAZIZ industrial ecosystem and chemicals hub

The US$1496 million project includes the following:

1. Construction of ammonia production plant

2. Construction of processing units

3. Construction of storage facilities

4. Construction of distribution units

5. Installation of hydrogen compressors

6. Installation of ammonia converter

7. Installation of air compressor

8. Installation of process heater systems

9. Construction of associated facilities
