Taziz, Fertiglobe, GS Energy, Mitsui - Ruwais Blue Ammonia Plant
A joint venture of Taziz and Fertiglobe is planning to undertake the construction of a blue ammonia plant with a capacity of 1,000 kilotons per annum at the new TAZIZ industrial ecosystem and chemicals hub at Ruwais in Abu Dhabi, the UAE.
The US$1,870 million project includes the following:
1. Construction of ammonia production plant
2. Construction of processing units
3. Construction of storage facilities
4. Construction of distribution units
5. Installation of hydrogen compressors
6. Installation of ammonia converter
7. Installation of air compressor
8. Installation of process heater systems
9. Construction of associated facilities
