Taziz - Petrochemical Derivative Complex in Ruwais
Taziz, a joint venture of ADNOC and ADQ is planning to develop the derivative park in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi.
The US$7,270 million project includes the following:
1. Construction of Chlor-alkali production plant with a capacity to produce 940 thousand tons per year
2. Construction of ethylene dichloride production plant with a capacity to produce 1.1 million tons per year
3. Construction of polyvinyl chloride production plant with a capacity to produce 360 thousand tons per year
4. Construction of methanol production plant
5. Construction of ammonia production plant
6. Construction of isopropyl alcohol production plant
7. Construction of elastomers production plant
8. Construction of port facilities
9. Installation of a feedstock supply system
10. Infrastructure works
11. Construction of associated facilities

Port and Logistics Facility in Ruwais: The research team was able to confirm that the main contract tender has been issued in October 2022 with a bid submission date on January 27, 2023, and the following companies have been pre-qualified and are likely to submit bids for the project:1. National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) 2. DEME 3. Van Oord 5. Jan De Nul 6. Boskalis.
