QVC - Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) Plant
Qatar Vinyl Company (QVC) is undertaking the construction of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant project in Mesaieed, Al Wakrah, Qatar.
The US$287 million project includes the following:
1. Construction of electrolysis unit
2. Construction of chlorination unit
3. Construction of EDC purification unit
4. Construction of additional warehouses
5. Construction of allied utilities
6. Construction of stripping unit
7. Construction of storage tank
8. Installation of drier
9. Installation of silos
10. Installation of centrifuge
11. Installation of a polymerization reactor
12. Installation of EDC cracker
13. Installation of related machinery
