Qatargas is undertaking the development of phase II of the North Field LNG expansion project by increasing the capacity from 110MTPA to 126MTPA in Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC), Qatar.

It is also known as North Field South (NFS) Project.

The US$15200 million project includes the following:

The project involves laying of 250 kms of onshore and offshore pipelines connecting five new offshore wellhead platforms with two new onshore liquefied natural gas (LNG) trains.
