EWEC - Al Ajban Solar PV IPP
Emirates Water & Electricity Company (EWEC) is planning to construct Al Ajban solar PV power plant (IPP) in Abu Dhabi, the UAE.
The US$1125 million project includes the following:
1. Construction of 1,500 MW power plant
2. Installation of solar panels of PV modules
3. Construction of control rooms
4. Construction of the operating building
5. Construction of associated facilities

Since then, neither information has been procured related to its progress, nor obtainable from contact with key stakeholders. We believe the project to still be in the Study and have amended the project dates accordingly. We will continue our efforts to obtain information on this project.
