The JV of ADNOC Offshore, Total, PetroChina and ENI are planning to develop phase 1 of the Umm Shaif Gas Cap Condensate Development in the northwest of Abu Dhabi.

The French giant Total, PetroChina and Italy’s Eni together hold a 40% stake in the new Umm Shaif and Nasr concession. Total holds a 20% stake and PetroChina and Eni hold 10% each, with the majority stake of 60% being held by Adnoc Offshore.

The project involves the development of a gas field with a production capacity of 500MMSCFD. (Million Standard Cubic Feet Per Day)

This project is one of the most important oil and gas projects in the MENA region

The US$1,500 million project includes the following:

1. Construction of three offshore wellhead towers

2. Construction of a riser tower platform

3. Construction of a gas processing and separation platform

4. Laying of a condensate subsea pipeline of 24" and 20"

5. Laying of intrafield pipelines

6. Construction of associated facilities
