KAHRAMAA - Facility E IWPP 2300MW
Qatar's General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) is planning to undertake the development of âFacility Eâ through Independent Power and Water Producers in the Madinat ash Shamal region, Qatar.
The project aims to meet the 2020 targets.

The project will be located at Ras Abu Fontas which was earlier planned to be located at Ras Rakan.
The US$3,000 million project includes the following:
1. Construction of a 2,300MW power plant
2. Construction of a water desalination plant with a capacity of 100 MIGD

4. Construction of storage facility
5. Laying of pipelines
6. Installation of substations
7. Installation of transformers
8. Installation of a switchgear
9. Installation of turbines
10. Installation of generators
