Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects (DAEP) is undertaking the expansion of Al Maktoum International Airport at Dubai South in Dubai, the UAE.

Al Maktoum International Airport is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The airport was opened in 2010 and is part of a larger project called Dubai World Central, which is designed to be a major logistics and transport hub for the region. In 2013, the government of Dubai announced plans to expand Al Maktoum International Airport to become the primary airport for Dubai, taking over from Dubai International Airport.

The US$40,000 million project includes the following:

Phase 1:

1. Construction of 92m high air traffic control tower

2. Construction of a 4.5km runway

3. Construction of 250,000-tonne cargo terminal

4. Construction of navigational aids building

5. Construction of passenger terminal

6. Construction of two central utility complexes

7. Construction of fuel farm

8. Construction of taxiways

9. Construction of aprons

10. Construction of drainage and sewage system

Phase 2:

1. Construction of 165,000m2 west terminal

2. Construction of four satellite concourses

3. Construction of 400 aircraft contact stands

4. Construction of cargo terminals

5. Construction of four CAT III runways

6. Construction of people mover/train link between terminals and concourses

7. Construction of 12 stations at the concourses and 1 station at the west & east terminal each

8. Construction of associated infrastructure
