KGM - Transport Vision 2023
General Directorate of Highways is undertaking the construction of a master project called the Transport Vision 2023 in Turkey.
GDH is responsible for planning, design, construction, maintenance, repair and operation of roads, bridges and structures within the network of motorways, state and provincial roads and keeps all the network safely in operation in all weather conditions.
The US$56,000 million project includes the following:

Ankara - Nigde Highway : ERG Insaat / Seza Insaat JV with a duration of 11 Years, 10 Months, 17 Days has been awarded the main contract for the project. The contract period of the construction is of 3 years from the date of award. The formal agreement has recently signed. The following companies have submitted bids for the project: *ERG Insaat / Seza Insaat JV *Makyol *Cengiz / Kalyon JV *Limak Holding *Ictas - Kolin - Mapa- Fernas Insaat JV Kurtkoy - Akyazi Section & Kinali - Odayeri Section : It is understood that the construction works for the project are currently heading up rapidly. Izmir Ring Road (Cigli - Aliaga - Candarli Motorway) : The foundation works was commenced on April 05, 2017. Gerede - Merzifon - Gurbulak Motorway : It is understood that the studies on the project are currently underway and overall construction for the project is expected to be completed by 2023.

Malkara - Canakkale Highway : Daelim /Limak / SK Group / Yapi Merkezi JV have been awarded as a main contractor for the project at the total value of $2.67b for a period of 16 years, 2 months and 12 days. The agreement for the contract has yet not been signed. The foundation ceremony is expected to be held on March 18, 2017.

The above bids are currently under evaluation.

The BOT tender will get stretched till Q2 2017, due to the design works need to be checked by the client.

Gebze-Orhangazi-Izmir Motorway : Izmit Bay Suspension Bridge : Izmit Bay Suspension Bridge Main Construction: The first asphalt laying work has been started and remaining 14 decks will be installed within 10 days. The project is expected to be completed by May 2016.

Phase 1: Gebze - Orhangazi - Iznik :The construction works are ongoing. MEP is being done by Otoyol in-house. Phase 2: Izmir Manisa Motorway: The whole construction is being done by consortium of Ozaltin Holding - Makyol. Overall construction completion for the project is expected in December 2018.
