Qatargas is undertaking the expansion of the North Field LNG expansion project in Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC), Qatar.

Phase 1 of the North Field LNG expansion project will increase Qatar’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) production capacity from 77 million tons per annum (Mtpa) to 110 Mtpa. Phase 2 of the North Field LNG expansion project will further increase LNG production capacity from 110 Mtpa to 126 Mtpa.

The US$48265 million project includes the following:
