Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC Offshore) is undertaking the expansion of the Umm Shaif Offshore Oilfield in the northwest of Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The project is part of the Abu Dhabi energy major’s strategic objective to achieve 4 million BPD of overall oil output spare capacity by 2020-end, and 5 million BPD by the end of 2030.

The US$1,183 million project includes the following:

1. Modifications and extension of existing facilities with the installation of new subsea cables and pipelines for debottlenecking in Package 1

2. Construction of three new wellhead towers with associated new pipelines in Package 2

3. Construction of one riser platform

4. Construction of new alpha towers

5. Construction of other associated infrastructure

6. Installation of multiple pipeline segments

7. Installation of water injection facilities

8. Improvement works for 30 wells on existing wellhead towers
